Affordable nail varnish!

N a i l   V a r n i s h

As much as i prefer using OPI and Essie nail polish, they could be considered at a lot of money for some people. Like me, sometimes i want to try a different colour, but with little money i cant afford to spend £10 on one nail varnish so i have to go for the cheaper range. I thought i would review some of these for anyone who is interested to see if these brands are any good. Hope you enjoy.

Collection 2000

I got these as part of a birthday present. I love the colours these nail polishes are,
and at the price of £1.99 i would say they are ok for what they are worth.
Although i would say the consistency of these are really thick, which some
people might not like. I only have to apply one coat which is good. 3/5

Barry M

I've just realised these colours are similar to my collection 200 ones aha!
I chose these pastel colours because i got them in the summer and pastels
were in for the summer. These stay on your nails for quite along time but
take 2 to 3 coats to get a good solid colour. I prefer these nail varnishes to
the Collection 2000 ones. One negative about them is that the brush is really thin.
£2.99

Rimmel London

You probably can tell i like these seeing as i have a lot of them :)
They stay on your nails a long time, they dry really fast and take
about 2 coats to get a solid colour. I wish they had a bigger range of colours as these
are just your normal colours. The 60 seconds range is priced at around £3.50 and
the I <3 Lasting Finish is priced at £2.99. 4/5

Thanks for reading! :)

Inspirations

 M y   I n s p i r a t i o n s
Hi everyone, so i have so many people that inspire me, all of them being other bloggers
and youtube gurus. You've probably heard of them all but if not i suggest you check them out!
I'll leave their urls down below.
Zoe (Zoella)
I can remember i first came across Zoe's youtube channel whilst watching some hauls
by other people. I can remember watching a Primark haul she did, and i liked it so
much i subcribed to her channel. Zoe lives near me i think yet she has no accent that is like mine
as Bristol/West country accents are very stong. Anyway she is so pretty and her and her brother
together are hilarious. She does a lot of hauls, and does colabs with other youtubers.
I love her style and find her advice helpful.
Louise (Sprinkle of glitter)
I havent been watching her videos for that long on youtube, but i came accross her because
she is good friends with Zoe. I think she is so funny and comes out with some funny sayings
which make me laugh. She also has a baby who is super cute! She does a lot of beauty and fashion
videos, mostly hauls.
Sam (Beauty crush)
I love Sams style, and she is really down to earth and offers a lot of helpful advice.
I love her monthly favourites videos and i find myself buying some stuff she has
shown and loving them. Sam has a very unique style and i love it but i
would never have the confidence to pull it off. Sam is full of
personality and makes me laugh whilst i watch her videos.

Xmas Excitement

So it's November, and to me that means one thing... 1 month closer to Christmas. I don't know what is wrong with me this year, I'm SO excited for Christmas, I'm like a little kid. At the start of October i was telling my mum what i wanted already. The day isn't that exciting, I'm just looking forward to the build up!

Every year I'm sad when its all over but this year I'm off to Lanzarote on the 29th December to celebrate new year, so i have that to look forward to. I also went abroad last year for new year, and even though I'm excited for this years holiday, it just isn't the same than celebrating new year at home. I just don't know why!

Last year was a tough year after discovering my Mum had cancer nearly a year ago, but this year Christmas will be more enjoyable now that she has the all clear. I think this is due to my excitement towards Christmas this year.

Anyone else excited yet?

My hair dilemma

So I've had a lot of hair history, but i'm known as the girl with superlong hair until one day i made the stupid decision to have my hair trimmed which i thought was the right thing to do when looking after super long hair - wrong. The hairdresser ended up cutting layers into my hair after i had spent years growing them out, grrrr! So right now, i can say i have long hair still but some layers around my face... and i want a change in colour to maybe hide the layers!

I have seen so many people at the moment with blonde highlights and ombre hair and i actually really like it, so i went ahead and bought some bleach to either put highlights or ombre my hair myself. Although, im not too sure which i'm going to do yet, im so bloody scared to put bleach at the ends of my hair, because i know it will badly damage it.. but i guess if it gets that bad i can cut the ends off. Otherwise i will highlight it.

So this is the kit i bought alongside a conditioner targeted for bleached hair. I know it's an ombre kit but i figured its the same as a highlighting kit without the cap, so if i do decide to highlight my hair it won’t be much difference. The kit was about £5 i think.

Decisions, decisions!
I'll keep you posted with pictures of the result.

Hiya!

No one will ever read this I can guarantee, but just in case... hello! My name is Danielle and i am 16, nearly 17! Recently I have been so into watching beauty YouTube videos and reading beauty related blogs and really want to be a part of it all. I am currently at college studying hair and media make-up, and I really love it! I have learnt so much already and I have only been there for 2 months. Having said that, I really am not sure what I will do next, I’m thinking maybe getting a full time job and doing make-up on the side such as wedding make-up, or maybe i should try to get a job on a make-up counter.. ah I’m really not sure!!!

Anyway, I’m spending most of my time (which is a lot of time, seeing as i have no part time job..yet aha!) watching YouTube videos, and i look up to soo many YouTube guru's, they are all so beautiful and really down to earth, i would love to do what they do on YouTube. My favs are Zoe (Zoella) and Sam (beautycrush) - love watching their videos.

As of now, on here i'll be waffling about my life and beauty/fashion related stuff if anyone is interested.

Anyway, i have a headache and i need some sleep so I’ll be off.

I really want to meet and talk to people who are interested in beauty so hopefully someone will read this!! Don't be shy to talk to me!
